Subject Index to the
Database of fall 2002 entering MA/MMC mass communication
research interests
Each Grady Master's student prepared to conduct his or her own mass communication research. Their projects illustrate the process of crafting a research question. Among other parts of the process, each student conducted a brief literature review, identified key concepts, and explained why their question is important and to whom.
The Result: 68 examples that illustrate the steps involved in transforming a personal interest in mass communication into a concrete research question and a database of class interests. Each student project also includes 6 abstracts to relevant research, 3 of which date from 1998 – the present (one of which is attached to project).
[The projects are numbered: 1-68. Therefore the numbers grouped with subject headings refer to each project’s number. Hard copies of projects are available as a resource in the Grady College Drewry Room.—e.p.l.r.]
